Madonna has long been envied for her eternal beauty, and the Queen of Pop is letting us in on her secret to youthful-looking skin by dropping a skin care line. But there's a catch—you probably can't afford it.
After launching in Japan a few years ago, the luxury line—called MDNA SKIN—is officially stateside, and boasts about 7 individual products, as well as a skin rejuvenator set, which tops out at $600. The cheapest products are the face wash and eye mask, each starting at $50.
But what makes Madge's skin care line SO luxurious? Apparently, the products were created by "fusing the power of nature with the insights of modern science." In other words, the skin care line boasts mineral-rich, natural ingredients, such as therapeutic thermal spring water, as well as volcanic clay, all of which have exotic origins from a small Tuscan resort town called Montecatini.
Now, we're not sure that any other products infusing the power of waters from the Fountain Of Youth are gonna be affordable, but we had a plan in mind to find some cheaper alternatives. So, we did what any well-respected beauty blogger does, and set out to investigate the online realm we call Sephora.
Shop our not-quite-MDNA alternatives below, and be happy knowing you can still buy groceries for the next month. If you can afford Madonna's line, by all means shop the real collection online or at your neighborhood Barneys.
